The artist as educator
Noga is self-taught. This means that she studied law, not education, before turning to the stage and teaching, which she pursued in parallel. A lawyer for a few years, she eventually left the bar to devote herself to her true passion: the voice and its transformative power.
Realizing that she needed more tools than those provided by the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève (piano and classical singing), she took a more in-depth look at circle song during a workshop with Bobby Mc Ferrin and then with Roger Treece, to continue her training, notably with Rhiannon (master level certificate program of vocal limprovisation -All the Way In).
She is also a certified senior coach with the Hendricks Institute, a certified practitioner of Vapa Kaia sound massage and involved in “horsemanship” experiments, combining horse and voice.
Founder and president of Catalyse, creator of the sonoga© pedagogical approach, Noga is a researcher who progresses through fieldwork and bases her conclusions on her experiences.
